Those at the top of the organisation think one thing, but you know the reality is another tale altogether. What stories can you tell to show the boss that they’re out of touch, and things need to change?
As head of marketing, your task is to present a new concept to a disillusioned sales force against the backdrop of economic doom and gloom. How can you get them excited and on board, instead of dismissing it as yet another flaky campaign?
Bad press means senior management want to react quickly. You know their solution is like putting plaster on a wound and will only make matters worse in the long run. How can you convince them to wait a while for a more effective solution?
