If you can impress an individual then you can impress a room full. You just need to know some different techniques.
Whether it’s a presentation, a speech or something more unusual, and whether there are 30 people or 300, learn to convey your message in the right way and you’ll leave your audience impressed, energised and ready to act in just the way you want.
If you are worried that you aren’t a ‘natural’ or that speaking in public isn’t your ‘thing’, then don’t. Very few people find it easy to start with and some of the best public speakers never find it easy at all. Equally, with the right type of preparation and a little practice most of us can surprise ourselves, and our audience, with the force and fluency with which we can engage a group. Are they sitting on the edge of their seats? They soon will be.
In 90 minutes you will have
- Discovered how to go about creating a talk or presentation that achieves what you want.
- Reviewed different ways of structuring your content to make it come alive.
- Played with different language, tone and movement to see how this can enhance your impact.
- Considered visualisation, unorthodox rehearsal and other ways to calm nerves and get fully prepared.
- Practised impressing a group and received full feedback on how well you did.
- Decided what you can do next time you have to talk or present to a group so that you really do impress.
