"It was very helpful, informative and thought provoking. It would be helpful to know skills in getting back to adult state."

“Why?”

“Because I was right last time.”

“That’s not a reason.”

“It seems like a pretty good one to me.”

“Only if you haven’t got any facts to support you.”

“Look, I’ve got plenty of facts; don’t you trust me?”

“‘Trust’, what’s that got to do with it?”

When conversations start to become hostile or relationships begin to go wrong, it can feel like there’s a momentum building up which will be hard to reverse.

It’s true that if we each continue as we have done so far, we will probably end up in a bitter argument or with a ruptured relationship. But who says we have to carry on as we are?

This workout offers techniques to help us identify what is happening when a relationship begins to go wrong and puts us in a position to stop the destruction, repair the damage and start building a relationship that will work.

In 90 minutes you will have

  • Understood how we get into relationship ruts and why they seem so difficult to get out of.
  • Tools to identify what is going wrong and a language to describe it.
  • Knowledge of some of the basic things you can do to change the dynamic in a relationship that isn’t working.
