Saying 'no'

Have you ever said these before?

“I’ll try”
“Can I get back to you?”
“Yes, of course”
But in each case meant ‘no’?

‘No’ is one of the shortest words in the English language, one of the most powerful and yet one of the most difficult to say.

Imagine how good it would be if you could say ‘no’ and be loved for it. Well, you can. Or, at least, ‘liked’.

And once you can use ‘no’ to such good effect, you will be surprised how much more time you have, how people increasingly respect and listen to you, how much more in control you feel and how much better you become at influencing and negotiating.

Or would you rather things stayed as they are?
